Eastfield B&B is situated in the small village
of Rowsley just 2 miles from Chatsworth House. Rowsley is
on the A6, 5 miles north of Matlock and 3 miles south of
Bakewell.
Travelling north on the A6 from Matlock you will reach the
sign for 'Rowsley', immediately after that the A6 bends
sharp left to go through the village, Chatsworth Road turns
off to the right signed Baslow, Beeley and Chatsworth House.
Eastfield B&B is a detached house, approximately 300
yards from the turn on the right hand side. Travelling from
Bakewell on the A6, drive through the village past the Peacock
Hotel, over the river, past the Grouse & Claret, travelling
up a slight incline and take the first left on to Chatsworth
Road. Eastfield B&B is about 300 yards up the road on
the right hand side.
Pub and food is available at the Grouse &
Claret within the village and also at the Devonshire
Arms in the village of Beeley about 1 mile away. There are
also two Country House style restaurants within walking distance
at East Lodge Hotel and the Peacock Hotel in the village.
An Indian restaurant is also within walking distance.
Apart from immediate access to Peak National
Park, Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House are close by.
Walking, horse riding, fly, fishing and golf are a few of
the activities available close by.
A factory outlet style of shopping centre called 'Peak Village' including attractions for children is also located in the village. |
